4Assist together with Adam Smith Europe have been awarded the EU service contract entitled “Institutional Strengthening and Policy Dialogue Support in the Framework of the EU-Cambodia Partnership for Public Financial Management Reform - EU4PFMCambodia” of 1,9mEUR value. The project will aim to support the implementation of Cambodia’s Public Financial Management Reform Programme (PFMRP), including the related strategies and consolidated action plans (CAPs); to provide technical assistance open to all Government entities targeted by the EU-Cambodia Partnership for Public Financial Management Reform and support them to formulate, plan and implement reform activities to enhance budget credibility, financial accountability and transparency, strengthening efficient budget-policy linkages (including on Climate Change and Gender) and develop capacity for PFM and service delivery with a focus on domestic resource mobilisation, revenue management (administration and policy), budget comprehensiveness and budget transparency (including budget oversight), public investment management, public procurement, digitalisation through the strengthening of financial management information system (FMIS), accounting and reporting.
Four Assist Development Consulting Ltd together with ADE have been selected to conduct Operational Assessments (OAs) of public financial management and other financial circuits of countries benefiting from EU Macro-Financial Assistance, which is a form of conditional policy lending. This contract will cover EU candidate and pre-candidate countries as well as the countries of the European Neighbourhood. The objective of the assessments is to provide a detailed analysis of the operation of various administrative bodies (central banks, ministries of finance, auditing bodies) involved in managing Community funds in the countries receiving macroeconomic aid in its various forms from the European Commission. The total value of the framework contract is €750.000.
In our 4th consecutive, four-year framework contract with #DGECFIN two Operational Assessments of #PFM systems and circuits are in progress, one being in Egypt and one in Jordan.
Our esteemed colleagues, Yiannis Hadziyiannakis, Konstantinos Kiriakopoulos and Kennedy Musonda carry out the Assessment in Egypt, while Gnel Sedrakyan, Spyros Valatas, Irina Griryan and Irina Ialaia have undertaken the Assessment in Jordan.
